TRVL CARE is a for-profit non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) company proudly serving both local and long-distance transportation needs throughout Los Angeles County and pre-scheduled appointments beyond.
Founded in 2019 by seasoned entrepreneur Stephen de los Reyes, TRVL CARE was born from personal experience and a desire to create a better way. After witnessing the delays, unreliability, and lack of professionalism his own grandmother — and later his father — experienced while relying on assisted transportation, Stephen became inspired to offer a higher standard of care.
Although the pandemic delayed operations, TRVL CARE secured its first vehicle in 2020 and spent the next two years building the foundation for a patient-first service model. In 2022, TRVL CARE proudly transported its first patient — officially launching its mission to deliver compassionate, on-time, and stress-free transportation for seniors and individuals with mobility challenges.
What sets TRVL CARE apart is our door-through-door service. Unlike curb-to-curb providers, our trained team escorts each client from their residence or care facility to a modern, wheelchair-accessible vehicle — and from there, all the way to their check-in desk.

We are continuously striving to implement effective strategies for enhanced training, integrated technologies, and managerial support and communication. Because we provide local and long distance transportation, effective planning and communication between dispatch and key facilities is paramount.
We continuously work on enhancing our scheduling and traffic management in an effort to reduce travel and wait times while increasing efficiency. We work to adapt and implement policies and procedures to support our mission, to analyze and advise on transportation issues, evaluate scheduling conflicts, negotiate and correspond with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners.
Dispatchers will receive extensive instruction on using our technological integration systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:
- Customer intake
- Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
- Effective driver management and scheduling
- Trip management and oversight
- Coordination with facility personnel
